The Xingu Tribes living in this region have similar habits and social systems, despite different languages.
Specifically, they consist of the following tribal people:
Aweti, Kalapalo,Kamaiurá, Kayapó, Kuikuro, Matipu, Mehinako Nahukuá, Suyá, Trumai, Waura, and Yawalapiti

THE JOURNEY - XINGU RIVER

The Xingu River is a 900-mile long, (1,450km) river in Northeast Brazil. It is a southeast tributary of the Amazon River.
The Xingu River flows from the tropical savanna of central Mato Grosso, Brazil, northward to the Amazon for 1,979 km (1,230 miles). Some 20,000 indigenous people, from 19 distinct ethnic groups, live along the Xingu.
